Psychic Mediumship Is a Collaboration of Three Souls
Spirit communication is all light and love and for healing. Mediumship is a sacred trinity because it takes three souls to make this spirit communication happen. It is the trifecta of the spirit soul on the other side to create the ‘radio waves’, the medium who is the instrument to receive those waves - ‘the radio’, and the person who is receiving the reading to turn on the radio and tune in. Your energy as the recipient of the reading (also called the sitter) is very important, as it is one-third of the equation.
Preparing for the Reading
Set the Scene for Connection
Create a peaceful environment:
Choose a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted.
Make sure you’re comfortable and free of distractions.
Have tissues nearby, as connecting with loved ones can stir emotions.
Ensure that you leave open time after the reading to process.
Have a pen and paper handy to take notes, or record our session on a personal recording device. If this session is via zoom, I will record it and send it to you as a link.
Prepare Yourself
For a deeper understanding of the reading:
Reflect on your loved ones who have passed and speak to them in your mind and heart. Let them know you will be seeing a medium and would love to hear from them.
Please know that spirits are in control, and a connection may not happen.
Review your family history as it might help you recognize a spirit who comes through.
Think of questions or topics you would like to address during the reading. This helps guide the energy and ensures we touch on what matters most to you.
Come with an open mind and heart and believe that a connection will be made.
During the Session
Mindset Matters and Body Language
Keep an open mind.
Your body language is important; It's best to demonstrate your openness with uncrossed arms and legs.
You may not hear what you expect.
You may not hear from a specific loved one, even though you asked them to come through.
You may receive a message that you or someone close to you needs most.
Trust the process, even if it unfolds differently than you imagine.
For zoom group readings, please have your video and audio on as much as possible, as this helps with the energy and helps me to hear and see your feedback.
For large group readings, you may not receive a reading, but the messages that come through for others are often pertinent to you as well.
Spirit Communication
Spirits are in control. There is also no guarantee that any spirit will come through.
More than one spirit may come through at the same time and it may not be clear that the information being received is from more than one soul.
If something I say resonates, even if it’s just a partial connection, please confirm the part you recognize. Your acknowledgment helps strengthen the spirit’s presence and connection. It may also help delineate if there is more than one spirit at the same time. However, do not talk too much as that can make it difficult for me to continue with the connection to spirit.
Spirits may provide names, descriptions, or other specific details, but these can come through imperfectly. For example, a name might rhyme or start with the same letter. Also, spirits may bring in names of living loved ones.
There will be times when I am silent. This is when I am tuning into spirit or clarifying the messages I’m receiving. During these moments, please remain quiet.
Spirits may share messages that are unexpected. They communicate with love, and light.
For group sessions, if more than one person seems to recognize a soul, I will try to get more evidence to determine who the spirit is trying to reach.
Please feel free to ask questions of spirit.
Free Will and Suggestions
If a spirit has opinions, or makes suggestions, it is just that -- a suggestion. You have free will. Spirits won’t take it personally if you choose to take a different path.
After the Reading
Connecting with the spirit world can be deeply moving and transformative. Allow yourself time after the session to process what you’ve heard. Journaling or reflecting on the experience can help you gain clarity and insights.
Tell others about the reading as they might have insight to clarify or help recognize what you heard.
After some time has passed, refer back to your notes as information that did not make sense during the reading will often make sense later.
